Leveraging Diabetes Care Research to Drive Impact
Jon Easter is a Professor of the Practice and Vice Chair, Practice Advancement at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Easter directs the U.S. Healthcare and Managed Care courses in the Pharm.D. curriculum and has led several pharmacy practice transformation evaluations. He is the Associate Faculty Director at the UNC Center for the Business of Health (CBOH) that creates partnerships between business and pharmacy. Previously, Jon spent 19 years at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where he worked in health policy, focusing on quality and medication management. Jon has a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia and is a registered pharmacist.
Jasmine Perry, PharmD, CPHQ, is a Senior Clinical Pharmacist at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. In her role, she uses her passion for improving health outcomes of underserved populations by utilizing data driven insights to develop clinical solutions to improve quality of care. Jasmine’s passion for serving underserved populations has been highlighted through national organizational leadership, research experience, and clinical practice.
